I won't stay behind.
With the evolution of technology, everything is faster and easier to find. It is very important to keep ourselves updated and knowledgeable. This can be achieved through "autonomous learning", adapting your skills to the changing times and making them up to date.
Human beings are not able to be as effective and fast as a computer or an algorithm in some fields of knowledge. Although we cannot know everything, there will always be a subject in which we will not have knowledge and this is becoming faster, especially with the rise that Artificial Intelligence is having.Being self-taught is fine.
"Experience enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again." — Franklin P. Jones.
In professional courses everything seems very simple, you follow a few steps and in the end you get a result. However, when something goes wrong with that process it can be frustrating. That's why autonomous learning is important. Even if you don't know how to do something at first, keep trying until you understand it and have mastered the skill.
The internet is a wonderful resource for learning, and there are many free resources available. But it's not just about the resources, it's about what you do with them. If you have a goal or dream, then it's never to late to reach your goals!
One of the key things you need to know when learning a new skill is that it takes time to master. It is never wise to go out and sell yourself as an expert in the area from day one. You would be selling false promises, which would not make any sense to your customers.
Always remember, you will get better with time, but it won't happen overnight.
"All knowledge hurts."
