CREATIVE COLLABORATION IN PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL
Our experience in professional football includes contributing creative support within an established sports brand.
Presented anonymously, this project offers an introduction to the context of that collaboration and the
considerations behind creative work in a highly recognizable brand environment.
THE PROJECT CONTEXT
Football is a space where communication carries an emotional dimension. A brand speaks to people who bring
their own memories, expectations, and connection to the sport. That creates a particular creative challenge:
every new piece of communication belongs to a much larger story, one the audience already knows and cares
about.
OUR ROLE IN THE COLLABORATION
Our contribution was creative support within the existing brand environment. This was a defined contribution to
the work, with the brief providing the starting point and the established identity providing the context. The focus
was on respecting the character of the brand while responding to the communication need at hand.
WORKING WITH AN ESTABLISHED IDENTITY
An established identity gives creative work a recognizable visual language. The task is to understand what
makes that language recognizable and how a new contribution can sit comfortably within it. In sports, this also
means being attentive to tone: the communication needs to feel appropriate to the brand and its relationship with
the audience. This is the perspective through which we describe our involvement in the project.
WHAT THIS EXPERIENCE REPRESENTS
This collaboration forms part of our experience working within a brand world that already has its own identity and
audience. It is relevant to teams looking for creative support that can work within an existing direction. The public
account remains focused on that contribution; client materials and identifying details are not displayed.
